Ok, the Seaward 23 draft is 25" the R22 is 20". You're right, the
new boats lack a centerboard. The designer would have you believe
the wing keel is better than (or at least equal to) a centerboard.
I'm not so sure. In any event, the Seaward doesn't have a pop-top
or enclosed head but you can get a diesel inboard.
