	Hi Mary,
	I also have a 48, page 13 of the manual

	has instructions.  
	1.  Press page until Map page appears
	2.  Highlight CFG, press Enter
	3.  Highlight Track Setup, press Enter
	4.  Highlight Clear Log?, press Enter
	5.  Use the <- key to highlight the Yes prompt.
	6.  Press Enter to finish...
