The pin has to be 18 inches from the rudder pivot point.  That being a
given, there is not much available in the way of options.

If you are going to mount it on the gunwale (as I have) you will need
the extensions and also a tiller bracket to drop the pin.

Mine works very well.  It's a Navico which is almost identical to your
unit.
