Thank You Mark, It is a real nice think you are doing.

I think the best way to proceed would ask everyone if the can send the =
manuals to you, I do mean the originals(maybe they keep a Xerox if =
worried about getting lost). That way you can control the =
quality/size/ocr needs. I theory their might be a copyright problem but =
with the exception of the outboardmotors no one "sells" the manual or =
cares about out of date ones. I am comfortable that if thier is a =
problem a "rm" will solve it. I check with stan tomarrow.

It would be nice if people could bring a carepackage to Kentucky lake.=20

  Folks,

I've "volunteered" (read "Michael drafted me") some of my time to put =
together a Rhodes 22 document library for the web site. I'm thinking =
that if we pool our resources, we should be able to put together a =
pretty fair reference.=20

Here's what I've got so far from Raven's documentation:

Scanned images in .pdf format (not text), all circa 1988
          Rhodes 22 Owners Manual
          Rhodes 22 Mast Raising System
          Barient 8P Winch=20
          Bluet 206 Butane Stove=20
         =20
I'd like to ask that you forward any Rhodes documentation you have in =
elecronic form to me at mark@kaynor.org. I think that at this point I'd =
like to limit submissions to items that were included in original or =
recycled boats from General Boats - things that more than one or two =
owners are likely to find useful.=20

Anyone know much about copyright laws and how they might apply to a =
project like this? I assume we'll have to obtain permission from various =
manufacturers to "reprint" their documentation. I'm also thinking about =
including URLs to appropriate resources, as well.=20

This is just slightly more than a gleam in my eye at this point, so =
I'm open to any suggestions or comments (and / or volunteers).
     =20
