[Rhodes22-list] Job Interview

MJM, Good Luck on the interviews.  Thought I'd pass on
a tip I learned from a buddy at work.  He interviewed
with my company in the late seventies just before they
quit hiring pilots for about five years.  They put him
in the "hiring pool" so he sold his house, moved to
Memphis, and then it STOPPED!  For five years.  He and
his wife found menial work (no one else was hiring
either) and got to know everyone on the interview
board socially.  When they started hiring again he was
called for another interview, mostly to satisfy the
legal boys, and to make sure he didn't have any
outstanding felonies.  When they got to the question,
"What is your dream job?", instead of saying, "Oh, I
want to work for XYZ corporation doing (whatever
you're applying for") he said "I want to be Vanna
White on Wheel of Fortune".  The interview board all
looked at each other and one finally said "WHAT?". 
"Yea, I wanna be Vanna, she makes hundreds of
thousands a year for flipping letters for an hour, I
can spell, I could do that".  He got the job anyway.
