Joe, It is silicone sealant (4200) I believe. This is the sealant for the porthole windows and many ohter things on a boat. You can (and should) use it for any screws you put back in as well. This is a good sealant and provides water protection. Do NOT use 5200 because you cannot scrape that off again at a later date. Anne
