Rummy,
       I can not believe that Stan has not offered you the chance to
X-sail with the new sails.  I have not seen any consumer testing
reports.  Since you can sail in the winter months, he could get the
results out for sping at the mere cost of two liters of Rum.  Or could
it be that none of these alleged superior sails exist?  All this hype
over a maybe?  
       When do you get your boat back from the painter?  Where is your
mast?

Gene,

The mast and furling system is not changing - only the IMF main sail.

We would not proceed with the new design if it does not improve
performance.

Cost will not be an issue - this is just a hobby (although it was not
planned that way).
