sounds like you want to use a hoist to launch the boat, common on lakes and for bigger boat, they will use a sling and charge for
the service.

I am assuming the reason you are asking is a fear of water in the hubs/brakes, by using surge brakes, Stainless brakes, and
pruserarsied grease hubs it not a problem, but you do need to let them cool before luanch(like rigging the boat :-) and rinse them
off soon after use.
