[Rhodes22-list] jokes

I think most of the Sept. 11 compensation is coming from private donations
to the Red Cross and other organizations. Hollywood alone raised a couple
hundred million. The spectacular images of those buildings collapsing struck
a real emotional chord. There are about 30,000 people murdered in this
country every year. Another 40,000 or so killed in automobile accidents. We
don't get so outraged when its us killing ourselves, but let a foreigner try
it....! ;O)

I agree with Rush (and I seldom do!). At the risk of offending anyone who
lost a family memeber in 911 attack I don't see why the government is
provding this large compensation. I don't expect this to be a popular
viewpoint.
