[Rhodes22-list] rope loop

Just a guess but 2" rope, hemp or otherwise, is too heavy for anything =
on a Rhodes.  I imagine it is a broken-off piece of mooring line from =
some larger boat that the previous owner picked up as a souvenir.  John =
