[Rhodes22-list] lightning strikes on boats

I recall seeing a post earlier this morning on
lightning strikes and protection but there were so
many e-mails from this list, work, and others that I
flew through the delete process and lost it. Anyway,
since I've been on this binge for electrical system
knowledge why not add this to the pile of bedtime
reading. The website
www.concordelectronics.com/news-lightning-boats.htm
has about the most in-depth article on the subject
I've found yet. Scroll to the bottom and click the
pamplet icon. I've been hit by lightning more than
once flying with no serious damage other than dirty
underwear and frazzeled nerves but I don't want to
experience it on a boat and am willing to spend a
reasonable amount of time and money to avoid it
happening. Based on the number and frequency of posts
others think about this too from time to time.
