Rummy,
Of course a lightning strike is a lightning strike but that wasn't the
question. To clarify, I have read that lightning damage was greater in salt
water verses fresh because of the reason you mentioned, that salt water is a
better conductor than fresh. I have also read that the difference in damage
can be dramatic. I am not sure if this is true or not, that is why I asked.
