You need a anchor riding sail, on IMF a little of the main helps, but the main will take abuse from that, butcase it only happens in
"higher" wind and it might flog.

I have a design I alway ment to build for the boat using heavy canvas that would cure it, basicly a 4 point attachment system that
looks like a traiangle wedge,
The base is connected to the boom, the high part in the center of the back stays(i.e. the tentioner rope) and the two lower parts to
the backstay.
