Yes, I believe the legend lives on :-) But, I think Isadore had more to do 
with it than Elton. It only rained one day out of seven though and that 
day, while it did rain almost all day, the rain was so warm that you could 
hardly tell you were getting wet. Elton and I sailed most all afternoon in 
the rain. Got absolutely soaked. Couldn't hardly tell you were getting wet 
except after a while your pants got so heavy from all the water that they 
wouldn't hardly stay up anymore. Spent the evening sitting around the 
fireplace drying out all the stuff in our pockets, billfolds, etc. Pretty 
good time actually and none the worse for wear.
