[Rhodes22-list] New River

I used to go tubing on the New River in the 70s. I had friends  at VA Tech 
(then VPI) and we would go for floats with large groups, some happy times 
....of course we broke about ever safety rule for being on the water, no 
PFDs and drunker than hell. Further upriver I hear the white water is not to 
bad, never made it up there though.
