Brad,
I'm not a scotch drinker so I can't really answer that question. I can tell 
you that they work for cans as well as glasses and Styrofoam cups. I suppose 
what's in the glass or cup is irrelevant, but who knows? The scotch might 
melt the Styrofoam. Roger....any help here?
