I'm not surprised that hotmail does that. The Rhodes22-list digest, Vol 1 
#281 - 4 msgs for example was 130 Kbyte in length, had 4 messages and no 
picture. It doesn't take many of these to fill up the mailbox.
The other problem is that when people on the list reply to a message, they 
tend to copy the entire message over. If its a response to a response to a 
response, sometimes I get 10 pages of unnecessary text.
I just copy the part of the text I'm responding to, then I clear the entire 
screen, paste that text back and then write my response.
It probably doesn't seem like much unless you subscribe to the digest of the 
list. Then you may have to scroll through 20 to 30 pages of text to read 
three or four messages.

PS, I really do appreciate your work for the list and if changing to another 
mail carrier will help, then I'm all for it.
