Jim,

Welcome to the list. I am glad to hear from an owner of a 1974 Continental. I am in the process of reburbishing a 1974 RC, and have noticed many differences between my boat and others of near similar vintage. I hope I can write and ask you questions. Maybe I can start with a couple now.

Does your centerboard retract entirely into the keel? Mine sticks down about two inches. I am concerned about getting some of the weight off of the hull rollers and onto a keel roller.

There seems to be external cover plates on the keel for access to the centerboard pivot shaft. Does your boat have these?

Thanks,

Todd
