Steve,
Gray's Reef & Gray's Reef Passage are not marked on road maps or on the
typical map found in an atlas. Look on NOAA Chart #14901, which shows all
of Lake Michigan or NOAA Chart #14902, which shows northern Lake Michigan.
Gray's Reef is very prominently marked on either of these charts about 20 nm
west of the Straits of Mackinac. Gray's Reef Passage is the shipping lane
for all commercial traffic coming up the east side of Lake Michigan
