You know something buddy, you should watch the advice you give, my wife is German and been upset too. So I read the list mail.
Sitting down and think, I talk to her about getting her a new vacuum, figure it was both a gift and a vacuum, Sound great to me,
might even cover motherday, after talking to her about it, well that is a little off, I said three sentence then she talk for 15
mintues without stop and it ended "do not even think of coming to bed", so it looks like I am spend my night with the computer.

And you know, she was somewhat ok with this, it seems nothing makes a german happier than picking on the french :-)
