[Rhodes22-list] Looking for advice

Hi Alice,
The mount for the transponder (looks a bit like a warped hockey
puck) is inside the lazarette, the storage area in the stern with a hinged
lid. Wire from the transponder is pulled forward on the starboard side to
the mount below the cabin entrance. Only If you mount the transponder on
the transom, outside the hull, would the mount be able to interfere with the
rudder (but still not likely).
I will try to get pictures after work today, if I'm lucky, will
have the boat in the water in Rock Hall Sunday.

Thanks Gil. I'll be looking at the demos (west marine) and will definitely
look at the Garmin. Want to keep the cost down, if possible. Does the
mounting get in the way of motor/tiller?
Alice
