Furling? What's furling?
Seriously, I can keep the genny out up to approximately 10 to 12 knott
winds when I am solo sailing. Now, that's as you asked, without losing
speed due to excessive heeling. Any additional ballast (crew) raises that
wind speed. You would be amazed at how much difference a couple of hundred
pounds on the rail makes. Going wing on wing with the 175 and a whisker
pole with a preventer is a real experience at any wind speed.
