Bob,
	This discussion comes up every couple of years.  The last time
Rummy stated that his laz is sealed including up in the combings.  He
climbed in and verified this by personal inspection. 
	My laz has openings that allow for the gas line to pass thru to
the tank under the seat.  After you are on this list a while, you learn
that all R22's are not the same.  Not even those blessed by Stan.
