stop assuming guys, first test is it fresh or salt water(does not work on a lake), water can get into the boat other than hull
(think rain leak), also it can be very missleading, what happens the rain water might not show untill the boat is sailed(i.e. it
moves around, changes angles), same thing happens after a major leak is fixed, it can take a while(like weeks) and some sailing for
all the water to come out. The other problem is even a freash water leck can taste salty, picks it up from left over salt from the
last leck.
I would garden hoose the ports, chain plates, the ports, drain hoose, the ports, centerboard tube, the ports, deck hardware, the
ports, hatches, the port, rubrail and do not forget the ports :-) the only holes in the hull are the centerboard, sink and cockpit
drain and maybe owner installed knot/depth, bilge, seacock. The deck has alot more places
last but not least, I heard the word biege pump here, if someone cut it into the drain line for the sink, bad new thier is a tack
that will have water backflowing into the boat(great story of gb taking a boat back for 2 year running until they found that one
:-).

strenght to the hull? I mean is there any harm to sail (or motor) without the floor in place if you are looking for leaks? I was
just wondering because on my boat it ties all of the long cabin stringers together.
