Wally-
How about a rough guess, as I'm heading to the factory this weekend,
weather permitting, and will need to have a dimension then. Because the
dimension is non-critical, as it's taken up from block and line, I was
thinking 16-18'. If Stan had a mast up or could break away from
production, I could tap him as well. I should be ok if you didn't need
to visit your boat.
For Rummy, unless I released the line, the boom wouldn't have enough
slack for lower position. Or are you saying the line is redundant, and
even a bungee cord would keep it from dragging when furled? You are a
master of simplicity. I like the idea of controlling the boom from
excessive swinging in light winds and all. Worth considering.
Thanks,
J
