[Rhodes22-list] Questions

Jim,

I'm pretty partial to the stern-rail captain's seats. I couldn't tell for
sure but it didn't look like you had that type of stern rail. It's the best
seat in the house and once you have the old-style stern rail you cannot put
in the seats without replacing the entire rail. Also a solar panel is great
for keeping the battery charged during times when you aren't running the
motor often. Its just a trickle charge, but enough to keep it charged which
is good. I assume you will get a motor with an alternater/charger.
Finally, two items that are at the top of my list of upgrades is to have the
motor tied to the tiller for better steering in winds or currents going the
opposite way you want to go or in tight quarters AND motor controls in the
cockpit. I can't tell you how many close calls I've had because I was
leaning over the back to control the motor and couldn't see well ahead.

Good luck.

Saroj
