Alex,

Among other things (and there were many, it wasn't just Watergate) Nixon
cheated on his income taxes and got caught.  Skitch Henderson, bandleader
for the Tonight Show, did the same thing and went to jail.  Ford pardoned
Nixon, otherwise he probably would have gone to jail too.

Wally,

Can you recall what Nixon's activities created that disgrace and sameful
resignation? Interesting how the standards for disgrace and shame have
changed over the years.
