Mark,
For what it's worth, here is the rigging data I got from the previous owner
of my boat, an '84 Rhodes22 with a standard mainsail. I have replaced about
half with line I bought from Sailnet and Defender after my Genoa sheet began
to pop out of the clutches and so far the sizes have worked well and I've
had no more popping.
Lloyd
Rigging Data:
Genoa Sheet - 3/8" - 60' Black, Spun Braid on Braid
Furling Line - 3/16"- 1/4" - 3/16" Blue 32', Dacron Yacht Braid
Main Sheet - 3/8" - 35' Red, Spun Braid on Braid
Main Halyard - ¼" - 51' Red, Spun Braid on Braid
Center Board Line - ¼" Red 15' 6", Yale Yacht Braid
Traveler Line - ¼ - 15' White, Dacron Yacht Braid
Backstay Tension Line - ¼" - 15' Red, Dacron Yacht Braid
Boom Hold Down Line - ¼" - 4', Dacron Yacht Braid
Rudder Adjustment ¼" Black 4'6", Spun Braid
Jiffy Rigging - ¼" - 12' and 18' Braided Line
Stays are 1/8"
