Bob,
I see what you are saying the book says, and my book says 65' of
3/8 also. But that is not what Stan put on my boat. He put something a
lot thicker on my boat, but I just have not put calipers on it to
measure it. I would say it is at least 1/2. Nice thick bright blue and
soft line. And Rummy also has some nice thick line. On the Genoa
sheets, the thicker line is easier to grab.
What brand is the thick blue line that Stan uses? Does Stan sell
it? Anybody putting new Genoa sheets on, I would use exactly what Stan
put on my boat, it is good stuff.

In the GB booklet which I believe comes with the boat, titled TIPS ON
RIGGING AND SAILING YOUR NEW RHODES 22, the Genoa sheets are
approximately
'60 of 3/8 braided Dacron.
