IIRC 2006 is the death date for the simply 2 strokes with a carburetor, both CA and Fed EPA, after that the only 2-stoke left will
need the fancy fuel injection system(i.e. Mucury Opti-max), the low end (40hp+- and below) will go all 4-stoke, that why everyone
has a miolds coming out.
