I use two 6 gallon tempos.
1 port and 1 starboard under the seats. They fir, sort of. I have to
remove the filler cap on one to get it under. On the other I remove both
the filler and the cap with the out put fitting. Definitely a little bit
of a pain, but I don't often have to refill them. When I'm out for a LONG
time (days), I'll take along an extra 3 gallons in a plastic can.
The tanks are strapped in under the seats. Works for me.

I use the Clinton 6.6 gal tanks as well and as MJM says they fit under the
cockpit seats. I usually only carry one tank but when going on a river
cruise I sometimes carry two. You can run one tank dry and connect to second
tank without the motor missing a beat.
