[Rhodes22-list] FYI Name Letter Size

Several previous e-mails have asked for the appropriate size  for decals of the boat name to place on the sides of the hull.  This, in my opinion, is all a matter of preference, as is the type of script and the color of the display.  I purchased my decals in April, 2000 from BoatUS and they work for me.  Of course, the BoatUS decal printing operation is about 6 miles from my house so I went there and they showed me what the decals would look like before I made my final choice.  The decals are 8" high and I placed them 6" above the boot top.  To give anyone who is thinking about ordering decals a benchmark to help in deciding what size might look good on their boat I am attaching 3 photos of my decals taken today.
