Bill,

I wish I'd gotten a picture of Raven under her winter cover I could share
with you. I inherited our tarp system from Gary Sanford, Raven's PO.

We use the mast as a ridge pole w/ a 2x4 support at the mast step. We then
cover everything w/ a (maybe 15'x25'? - need to measure to be sure) canvas
tarp. Then we hang a bunch of 5 gal. plastic jugs half full of water around
the perimeter, 6 per side. Finally, we tie the ends closed. This allows us
to untie a single line at the aft end to have access to the cockpit and
cabin. I've found the water jugs to be way better than using lines or
bungees - no metal ends to flog, the lines are always taut, the canvas is
always stretched nicely w/o low spots.
