Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Water in the laz (revisited)
I saw an R22 this weekend at the Washington Sailing Marina in
Alexandria, Virginia that looked almost abandoned. It was a 1988, but
looked as if no one has given it any attention in a quite a few years.
The rudder was buried in the dirt and the tongue of the trailer was in
the air. Must have been all of the water in the laz. The rear of the
cockpit seats had standing water to the front of the laz, and water was
seeping out around the motor mount and gudgeons bolts.
