You are going to need some sort of hoisting tackle arrangement to ship the
dinghy. It's going to be impossible or at least very difficult to sail with
the dinghy aboard. In general you need a boat at least 35 feet long to
comfortably ship and sail with a hard dink on deck.
Contrary to an inflatable, most hard dinks tow easily and have little
performance impact on the boat doing the pulling. So there is little need
to ship it.
There is a very expensive sailing/rowing/motoring English inflatable in
limited distribution. Cant recall the name. Although a bit heavier then
most inflatables of equivalent size it is supposedly a very competent
vessel.
