Rob,
Don't know a lot about the new B/S 5 horse. I did look it up on their web
site a while back and was not able to find a long shaft model listed. 15
inch only. You'd rather have a longer shaft for an R22. It's been a while
since I checked this, so it's possible they have added a long shaft model.
