Thanks, I'll nose around there.
On my racing dinghies, we don't use waxes as they are considered slow. Just
a clean, hard, smooth "wetting" surface is considered best. The beading up
of water on a waxed surface messes up laminar flow, I'm told -- although it
might keep the hull cleaner.
