[Rhodes22-list] traveler lines

Hi All,

My traveler lines are of a length that allows the carriage to move only a few inches off center in either direction and less than half the distance to the end of the traveler bar.  Could you tell me if this is normal?  Assuming it is not, and that the carriage should be allowed to move the full length of the bar, does anyone have the required length of line to permit this?  I know it wouldn't be difficult to measure myself but thought I would ask in case I visit the store before the boat.  As always, thanks for any help.
