[Rhodes22-list] power cleanup crews

Todd,
I doubt that any major power companies keep clean up crews
anymore. It is all contract work now. Even routine installation and
maintenance is contract work today. I am aware of the Mt. Airy crews
and south Alabama crews. They even bring their own
communications/supervisors with them. I was impressed with the speed
and quality of their work.

It is obvious that NC was hit the hardest. But the power crew I spoke
with yesterday up here in Maryland were from Mt Airy, NC contracting
   for PEPCO. Hummmf.....go figure

1800's
