[Rhodes22-list] What about Libya? Black Hawk Security

My heart goes out to the families of the men who were killed. With no
disrespect intended these folks should not have been there to start with.
They were there to make a quick buck. My nephew is an ex-Ranger and current
Norfolk VA cop. He is considering a job with the same company (Black Hawk?)
right now. His reason? Money! He has been to Somalia and Bosnia and figures
it his chance to get paid some real cash. I am trying to talk some sense
into him but he is still considering his options. He is hoping to come back
with a hundred grand in his pocket. What does he want to do with the money?
He wants to buy a big sailboat!

The despicable people that killed these men were strong supporters of Saddam
Insane. From their viewpoint we attacked their leader and country. The US is
an occupying force. They are fighting back. One of the reasons we have a
right to bear arms in this country is so we could do the same. I don’t agree
at all with their tactics or cause. I do understand that Arab Muslims
parade their dead heroes as well as dead enemies. Yes they mutilate the
bodies of their enemies. It is truly barbaric but that is the way it is and
always has been. We are naïve enough to think that we can change this fact.

We in America keep trying to insist that all cultures are just like us or
should be. The fact of the matter is this is far from the truth. I wonder
if this country will ever figure that out.
