[Rhodes22-list] Rhodes-22 Bombardment

Friends:

I got on this list for the first time last Thursday.  Along the lines of
Mark Kaynor's statistics, I report that today I have received (up to 6:20
pm) 66 emails from this list; 15 were at least remotely connected to
sailing, and the rest were a continuation of the ongoing political diatribe
that I have zero interest in hearing about.  Friday, I received over 90 by
the time it was all over, but learned almost nothing about sailing.  My
compadre Jim White suggested I get on this list to learn about our R22, but
so far it is just taking up way too much time for little benefit.  (I
enjoyed the discourse on travelor positions, however, and a few other
topics).

If this list doesn't get back to the focus of sailing, I will have no other
choice but to...get on a political debate mail list, and bombard the list
with news about the Rhodes-22!

Maybe we could recommend that each recipient limit his/her self to no more
than 1 (one) non-sailing email per day.  What say ye?
