Michael,
Are you having Stan put an IMF on your new boat? I do not think
that the Seaward has enough stays to hold the heavier mast. Is he going to
add the needed chain plates to add the needed stays?

Uhuru II is an 1984 Rhodes 22 with a standard main. (Happy birthday,
Uhuru.) Last year I replaced the bitterns after carefully
measuring each one and writing the dimensions down for further reference.
Today I went to put the bitterns back in after having my
main cleaned and otherwise fixed up. However I could only find one batten,
labled 'lowest batten and no paper with the dimensions.
So much for my so-called "efficiency". Does anyone with a better record of
data keeping than I happen to know the sizes of the
bitterns in that era of mainsail?
Lloyd
