[Rhodes22-list] CDI Furler question

Folks-Putting my sail back on the CDI furler and wondering what others 
do at the base to tie off. Normally I'm tying the sail and the halyard 
off to one shackle at the top of the base. On GBI outfitted CDI's, I've 
seen multiple shackles, mini-blocks, etc. Looked for any pictures in 
the archives and their manual, and no details to be found.
Any help is appreciated,
