     I believe that you are from the NYC area?  Make that first visit a fact
finding visit only.  If they tell you that somebody else is coming to buy
the boat, just say o.k.

 

O If you have a camera, take some pictures.  

O Take a note pad and take notes.  

O What year is it?

O Motor? What kind, year, last run

O Sails? General condition.

O Water?

     O In Cockpit?

     O In Bilge?

     O In Cabin?   

O Exterior.  Be able to describe condition.

O Is it on Jacks or Trailer.

     O Trailer.

          O Can trailer move?

          O General condition of tires. Inflated?

O Does it have all Stays?

O Does it have a centerboard?

 

After you complete the above, report back and present your findings to the
Grand Panel of Rhodies.  Remember, this is just your first visit.  It is a
fact finding mission.  If you have a printer, just print this out.
