[Rhodes22-list] Leaking Roof

Rummy,

So glad you're back!

The flat roof on my sunporch is leaking.  I plan to rebuild the entire room within a year--with a second story above it.  What should I do from now until then?  Water is migrating elsewhere on the first floor so "don't use your sunporch when it rains" won't work.  I know less about roofing than I knew about sailboats when I first joined this list.  I'm a roofing newbie.
