Rik,

I hope you're enjoying your M15. We loved ours. Isn't it interesting how
our boating needs evolve over the years? Mary Ann and I live about five
minutes from a boat ramp on the Mississippi. We've been talking about this
for a couple years and this week decided to buy a little motor boat for
tooling around on the river. We got an '83 Lund 16' fishing boat with an
Evinrude 35hp--a very Minnesota boat! We've been out twice so far and it's
almost silly how easy it is to tow, launch and retrieve compared to what
we're use to. We've gone up and down through the locks and to both downtown
Minneapolis and St. Paul, with miles of wooded, sandy beaches in between.
We're also close to the confluence of the Minnesota River, so there's lots
of new places to visit and explore.

The river is beautiful but we certainly wouldn't go there on the Rhodes. I
think everyone eventually needs at least two boats.
