[Rhodes22-list] Trailer Brakes

    I was looking at new trailers this week and saw the inertial braking 
system mounted on the tongue of these new monsters.  A small box no 
wider than the 4" tongue contained a master cylinder for the two rear 
brakes of the trailer.  A sliding mechanism triggers the master cyl to 
engage when the tow veh begins its braking shoving the hitch fwd and 
the tongue mech with it being triggered.. I must seem very naive Im 
sure as these types of devices are all over but It would seem to me you 
could add this mechanism to any trailer later on..

  Btw: My trailer DOES not have brakes its lucky it has an axle that 
will stay on with no load up above!
          I am going to be looking for a  good R22 trailer deal in a few 
wks.
