Rummy, Been there, done that too. Slipped on a power cord and took a ride
down a pretty steep roof postrate and face first. I stopped right before
the gutter which was about 25 foot above my folks pool deck. My likely
splat spot was visable and my brain already invisioned it a couple times in
that split second before I stopped. I would have liked to have laid there
while my heart restarted but it was July and I had burns on me face, hands
and knees from the ride on 110 degree roof. Boy did that pool feel good
when I got down. Never did go on that roof again, not enough tea in china.
Live and learn, Hopefully my final lesson wont be too painful or particulary
imbarresing. My wife is convinced that I will make the "Darwin Awards" some
day. Bob
