Good advise Michael!
Did anyone read the description in the new catalog of Randy Repass' new 
Wylie 66?  If he really spec'd all the stuff, it is probably a good hint
about which manufacturers to trust.  He certainly seemed obsessed with
having a safe, reliable boat.  We can all use the advice when we're
outfitting our 60-footers!

I would destroy your credit cards first, that book has lead many a finily to
ruin :-), make sure to cheek prices with defenders
first, west will price match and defenders is alot cheaper(sometimes)

Got my (first) West Marine catalog in the mail yesterday.  Boy, what a book.
I can see what I'm going to curl up with in front of
the fire for the next couple of weeks.  My wife thought we had gotten
another phone book.

It's going to be in the 50's today and the snow and ice are melting.  It
won't be long before it's sailing time!
