Ed,

About bloody time. Microsoft HAS been negligent in the security arena for
quite some time. I'm on several security lists and MS wins hands down r.e.
the number and severity of alerts. Long ago they opted for ease of use for
the consumer (not an altogether bad goal) at the expense of security and now
they're getting hammered for it. Justifiably so, IMHO.
